Danhauser salon

Price: 8.000

An exceptional parlor set from the early Biedermeier period, attributed to the workshop of Josef Danhauser, dated around 1820. This authentic example of the first wave of the Biedermeier style exudes the harmony, warmth and subtle elegance characteristic of urban interiors of the time.
The set is made of solid wood with a high-quality walnut veneer (schvartna), whose rich texture comes to the fore through careful manual polishing using the traditional shellac technique. Recognizable, slightly curved lines of the backrest and armrest testify to the superb craftsmanship, but also to the aesthetic turn towards simpler, more functional forms that marked this period.

Upholstery has been restored with selected furniture fabric inspired by historical patterns – sumptuous floral motifs and birds in vivid tones bring dynamism and authentic spirit of the era, while giving the piece a striking and representative character.

The set includes a sofa, two armchairs and a coffee table with a central plinth, making this set the perfect choice for an elegant lounge, representative space or as a central accent in an interior with character.
A piece that combines history, superior craftsmanship and timeless aesthetics.
