Art Nouveau gaming table
Representative Art Nouveau gaming table, 1910–1920. An extremely rare and authentic game table from the Art Nouveau period, made between 1910 and 1920, in the spirit of top European craftsmanship of the early 20th century. The piece is made of solid wood and walnut veneer, carefully chosen for the warmth of the tone and pronounced texture of the wood, with discreetly incorporated brass details characteristic of the aesthetics of that period.
The central, monumental plinth with a stable octagonal base carries an elegantly profiled plate, the upper surface of which is coated with fine choya, intended for parlor games. Side pull-out consoles with integrated brass containers further confirm its original function and testify to the thoughtful functionality and luxury of the interiors of the time.
The harmony of proportions, superior woodworking and preserved original details make this table an exceptional example of art nouveau design — a piece that goes beyond utilitarian purpose and enters the domain of collector’s and museum quality.
This table is not just furniture, but an authentic witness of an era — ideal for representative spaces, collections or exclusive interiors with historical character.
