GUSTAV BECKER – SINGLE-WEIGHT WALL CLOCK, LATE 19TH CENTURY
A fine example of a German single-weight wall clock by the Gustav Becker manufactory, dating to the late 19th century. The case is crafted from solid wood and oak veneer, featuring an elaborate design with a prominent arched gallery at the top, turned columns framing the front door, and a characteristically tapered, rounded base.
Its harmonious architectural proportions and the rich grain of the oak wood lend the piece significant decorative and collector’s value. A classic dial with Roman numerals, ornate hands, and a decorative brass pendulum complete its authentic historical character.
Germany, late 19th century. Gustav Becker. Mechanical movement, single weight.
