Picture screen

A miniature four-panel screen, hand-painted on wood using the traditional Vietnamese lacquer technique.

The scene depicts a picturesque landscape featuring traditional wooden boats sailing on calm waters, surrounded by rock formations and trees. The composition is dominated by rich golden tones, which lend it a sense of warmth.

Designed to stand upright—mimicking a full-sized folding screen—it is perfect for display on a chest of drawers or a desk; it can also be framed, if desired.
