Gaming desk
An Art Nouveau game table, 1905–1920. An exceptionally rare and authentic game table from the Art Nouveau period, crafted between 19105 and 1920 in the spirit of fine early 20th-century European craftsmanship. The piece is made of solid wood and mahogany veneer—carefully selected for their warm tones and distinctive grain—featuring discreetly incorporated brass details characteristic of the era’s aesthetic.
A central, monumental column with a stable octagonal base supports an elegantly profiled tabletop, the upper surface of which is covered in a fine material (such as *choya*) and designed for board games. Pull-out side consoles featuring integrated brass receptacles further confirm its original purpose and attest to the thoughtful functionality and interior luxury of the era.
Harmonious proportions, exquisite woodwork, and preserved original details make this table an exceptional example of Secessionist design—a piece that transcends mere utility to enter the realm of collector- and museum-quality objects.
This table is not merely a piece of furniture but an authentic witness to an era—ideal for prestigious spaces, collections, or exclusive interiors with a historic character.
